This alliance kicked off in 2010 at Salone del Mobile in Milan, where Design Miami/ Basel announced its annual Designers of the Future Award, now known as the “W Hotels Designers of the Future Award.” This award recognizes young, emerging designers whose work reflects exceptional innovation and beauty in limited-edition design.

The W Hotels Designers of the Future Award recognizes the best up-and-coming design talent from around the world. Together, Design Miami/ Basel and W Hotels are able to create forward-thinking and innovative design solutions for W Hotels, while also showcasing their unique works to both W guests and locals around the world.
