Didier Ltd

Didier Ltd is a London-based gallery run by Didier and Martine Haspeslagh that is unique in specializing in historical jewels by leading Modern Masters: painters and sculptors who are recognized internationally for their art. These jewels were produced primarily from 1940 to 1990, and blur the boundaries between art and design, while also being small, intimate expressions of their creator’s art.

For Design Miami/ Basel 2013, the gallery will focus on the jewels of Italian sculptors Arnaldo and Gio Pomodoro. With over forty jewels and other small works of art, this exhibition will represent the largest collection assembled in over thirty years and its accompanying catalogue will be the first devoted solely to the jewelry of these dynamic brothers. Arnaldo and Gio Pomodoro started as jewelers and came to sculpture through these miniature works of art. Their work will be displayed alongside other Italian painters and sculptors who came to designing jewelry later in their careers.

Didier Ltd will also be presenting the work of the contemporary ethical studio jeweller, Ute Decker.
