Galerie Patrick Seguin
Settled since 1989 in a gallery of 300 square meters designed by Ateliers Jean Nouvel, Patrick Seguin promotes French creators such as Jean Prouvé, Charlotte Perriand, Pierre Jeanneret, Le Corbusier and Jean Royère throughout the world.
More recently, he presented an entirely new scale of Prouvé’s work with his most innovating dismountable architecture. This exhibition policy is backed by monographic or thematic publications.
This year, Galerie Patrick Seguin wishes to emphasize the scope of Jean Prouvé’s genius, presenting at Design Miami/ Basel 2013 the exhibition of the Maison des Jours Meilleurs (Better Days House), designed by Jean Prouvé in 1956 for Abbé Pierre and which encapsulated perfectly Prouvé's notion of the mass-produced detached house—durable, light, economical and comfortable—that he had been working on for almost twenty years.
